Intra Oral Scan

A intra-oral scan is a diagnostic imaging procedure that uses x-rays to produce images of the teeth and jaw. This type of scan can detect cavities, abscesses, and other problems in the teeth and gums. The intra-oral scan is an important tool for dental care and can help identify problems early so they can be treated promptly.

  • A highly advanced scanner that renders all oral tissue accurately in 3D allowing the dentist to see the entire dental arch in color with great accuracy.
  • It can show the patient in 3D any dental and oral issues. Sounds good, right?
  • The intraoral scanner is a helpful tool for patients who mistrust dentists or require visual aids to see their problems.

How It Works???

An intraoral scan is a digital dental impression that uses 3D scanning technology to create a detailed model of your teeth and mouth. The scan is performed using a small handheld scanner that is passed over your teeth and gums. As the scanner moves, it captures thousands of photos that are used to create a detailed 3D model of your mouth. Your dentist or orthodontist can then use this model to plan and provide treatment.

Benefits on the Way

The benefits of intraoral scanning are numerous. This type of scan is very accurate to visualize the teeth and other oral tissue with great accuracy.

Intraoral scanning also eliminates the need for traditional impressions, which can be messy and uncomfortable for patients.

This helps the dentist to show the patient in 3D any dental and oral issues.

This technology also allows for a more accurate fitting of dental appliances and faster treatment times.

Why and For Who Can

Intraoral scans are different in that they are highly advanced and render all oral tissue accurately in 3D. This allows the entire dental arch to be shown in color, making it easier to identify any problems. The intraoral scan is also less invasive than traditional methods, such as x-rays, and does not require the use of radiation.

The intraoral scan will be recommended by your dentist if visualized images of your dental issues are needed. With intraoral scanning, we can take accurate digital impressions of your teeth and gums, which allows us to create a 3D model of your mouth.

Not only will you be able to see what your smile will look like after treatment, but you’ll also be able to see exactly what we’re talking about when we discuss your treatment options.

I have been visiting the clinic for almost a year now. Dr Marwan worked 4 times on my teeth and saved me from 12 years of paid and wrong medical treatments. It is so great to feel human after year of suffering and insecurities. I have also got to be a patient of Dr Mahmoud Akrama 7 times who had worked me my filling, Botox, facial profile and advise and fat burning. Onyx is a complete medical center that service under one hive that patient does not need to move around from clinic to another. They work in a discreet location and rooms. Dr Marwa was also wonderful and I love how she cares about the brands she is using and being informative about what to use and avoid. She made me glow before a wedding people forgot the groom. My next service would be hair transplant, I met the dr and her advise was true to the fact. I have seen her work and it is true to human looks. I am working to move my physiotherapy to Onyx. Nothing is fake or plastic looking at Onyx. All natural preservation of years that life and mr gravity where not kind to. I am extremely happy with my results and excited to see further future results. Thanks Onyx Medical Center.

Had the pleasure of getting a filling and cleaning procedure with Dr. Ibrahim Al-Najjar.I must say that he was very helpful and patient, went above and beyond to even show me the decayed molar with a camera to help me understand the problem.Apart from that, the filling and dental cleaning were a pain-less experience. From the reception, which were helpful and responded in a speedy manner, to the assistant who was very friendly all the way to the GP itself I have had a 5/5 experience.Definitely my go-to dentist from now on.Thanks Onyx Medical Center team!
